Abstract
Models of stepped x-ray diffractors of a new type with ellipsoidal and toro idal step surfaces are calculated in the point x-ray source approximation. The Monte Carlo method is used to obtain an image of the diffraction zones of reflection and to investigate the influence of surface curvature on the shape and area of these zones.
