Abstract
A chiral bis-N-oxide as a tetradentate ligand for various transition metals is introduced. A Cu(II)-complex is fully characterized including its X-ray structure and the corresponding Cu(I)-complex proved to be an active catal yst for asymmetric cyclopropanation.
