Abstract
The physical and spectroscopic data of (R)-2-[N-(1-phenylethyl)amino]-1-cyc lopentenedithiocarboxylic acid are reviewed and the synthesis of (R)-di-[2( N-(1-phenylethyl)amino]-1-cyclopentenedithiocarboxylic acid disulfide is de scribed. The product resulting from the conjugate addition of the dithioaci d to 2(5H)-furanone is also characterised. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevier S cience Ltd. All rights reserved.
