Abstract
Structural parameters of the surface of polyamic acid and polyimide films ( microdomain size, period of spatial distribution, lattice density, and frac tal dimensionality of the clusters of aggregated microdomains) were calcula ted from the electron microscopy data using the approximation of the cluste r lattice model. The supermolecular structure of the film surface has a sca le-invariant character. The laws of the surface structure transformation in the course of thermal imidization in the films of polymers with different stiffness of macromolecules.
