Abstract
The article deals with the historical background and especially with the pr esent status of Educational and School Psychology in Poland. Research and t eaching activities are reviewed, and basic lines of the conception of Educa tional Psychology are discussed. Special emphasis is placed on specific iss ues emerging out of the social changes in the Poland.
