Ecosystem inside the delta of the Po River

Analytical results are reported for the determination of inorganic species in water and sediments sampled in the Gore Bay, a very important area devot ed to the fishing and breeding of mussels and clams for food and located in side the delta of the Po river. The species determined are Hg, Cu, Pb, Cd, Zn, Fe, Mn, Al, Ni, Co, Cr, K, Mg in the sediments, and Hg, Cu, Pb, Cd, Zn, Fe, Mn, Al, Ni, Co, Cr, Na, K, Mg, Ca, NH4+, Cl-, Br-, NO3-, SO4- in the s uperficial and integrated water. Accuracy and precision, expressed as relat ive error (e) and relative standard deviation (s(r)), respectively, were go od, being in all cases lower than 5%.
