A simultaneous data collection system for several soil water release curves

A system design for simultaneous collection of data for several soil water release curves (SWRCs) is presented. Schematic drawings, a photograph, or l ist of materials for the system, and some example SWRCs are shown. Except f or the cells to hold the soil (Tempe cells), construction materials for the system are available from sources local to most readers. Modifications whi ch adapt the system for collecting data for the one-step method of determin ing unsaturated hydraulic conductivity are discussed Upon request to the au thors, drawings and photographs showing the system in greater detail will b e sent for postage cost.
