The effect of the C-22 gravity field term on a particle is evaluated analyt
ically over one orbit to find the change in orbit energy and angular moment
um as an explicit function of the orbital inclination, argument of pericent
er, longitude of the ascending node, orbit parameter and eccentricity. Chan
ges in orbit energy and angular momentum are shown to be proportional to a
family of integrals which can be parameterized in terms of eccentricity and
non-dimensional pericenter radius.
