Abstract
A new acylated flavonol glycoside, called monochaetin, was isolated along w ith three known flavonoids from the leaves of Monochaetum multiflorum, and its structure was characterized as a novel di-hyperin ester of 3,3',4,4'-te trahydroxy-mu-truxinic acid on the basis of chemical methods and 2D-NMR spe ctral analyses.
