An 83-year-old Caucasian man with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma developed an ag
gressive squamous cell carcinoma of the left forearm, which recurred and me
tastasized after Mohs micrographic surgery and systemic chemotherapy with c
is-platin and 5-fluorouracil. He was treated with extracorporeal photophere
sis, radiation therapy PUVA photochemotherapy, and interferon therapy for c
utaneous T-cell lymphoma. Aggressive squamous cell carcinoma can occur in t
he selling of extracorporeal photopheresis.
