Abstract
Macrothix laticornis is redescribed and compared with populations from cent ral North America (Mexico), and from south-east Asia (Vietnam). All three a re closely related, but with sufficient morphological differences to establ ish a laticornis species-group. Two species new for science are described, viz. M. sierrafriatensis (Mexico) and M. vietnamensis (Vietnam).
