Abstract
3-Allylsalicylaldehyde and methyl 3-allylsalicylate are converted in modera te to good yields into the new diallyl substituted 14-16, 23-25-membered ma crocyclic crown diamides 8a-h, 10a-c, 15a,b and the 21-23-membered dithiate traaza-crown compounds 17a-g, 18a-c.
