Abstract
2,3-Dihydro-1,3,4-thiadiazoles are synthesized by the reaction of hydrazono yl halides with alkyl benzoylhydrazinecarbodithioates in ethanolic triethyl amine whereas alpha-keto hydrazonoyl halides react with benzoylthiosemicarb azides to afford 5-arylazothiazoles.
