Abstract
Strong cation and anion-exchangers were synthesized from phenylhexyl-bonded silica gel. These ion-exchange silica gels were stable after continuous fl ushing with over 45,000 column volumes of 25 mM disodiumhydrogen phosphate in 50% methanol solution. Their chromatographic specificities were studied for separation of saccharides, and drugs.
