Sa. Konstantinova et Vv. Khronusov, Rock pressure manifestation around underground workings in potassium minesin the case of a nonhydrostatic initial stressed state of the rock mass, J MIN SCI, 35(2), 1999, pp. 126-134
The Finite-element method is used to solve problems about the stressed-stra
ined state and stability of salt-rocks in the vicinity of mine workings of
different purposes taking account of features of the deformation and failur
e of salts in time for the mining-geological and mining-technical condition
s of the potassium mines of the Verkhnekamsk deposit of potassium and potas
sium-magnesium salts in the case of nonhydrostatic initial stressed state o
f the rock mass. The effect of tectonic stresses on the processes of deform
ation and failure of rocks in time constituting the interlayer and intercha
mber pillars is established.
