Abstract
Scattering measurements performed at an energy slightly higher than th at of the lowest crossing between the ground and the first electronica lly excited state of the H-3 system are reported. The essentials of th e reactive dynamics are describable in terms of a classical motion of the nuclei on the lowest adiabatic electronic potential. (C) 1997 Amer ican Institute of Physics.
