Abstract
3 new species and 2 new forma specialis of Alternaria are reported in this paper. They are: Alternaria querci T. Y. Zhang, J. Z. Zhang et W. Q. Chen o n Fagaceae; A. liriodendri T. Y. Zhang et J. Z. Zhang and A. tenuissima f. sp. magnoliicola on Magnoliaceae; A. tenuissima f. sp. toonae on Meliaceae and A. broussonetiae T. Y. Zhang, W. Q. Chen et M. X. Gao on Moraceae. Lati n diagnoses and illustrations of the new species are provided. The type spe cimens of the new species are diposited in the Herbarium of Shandong Agricu ltural University: Plant Pathology (HSAUP).
