The teleportation of the signal beam of a parametric amplifier is considere
d, and its entanglement with the idler beam before and after the teleportat
ion process is computed. A criterion based on homodyne measurements is prop
osed to discount purely classical effects, and it is suggested that the pre
servation of the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen correlations during teleportation
