Abstract
This study investigated whether the method of administration (computer vs. paper-and-pencil) influenced mean scores on the Symptom-Checklist (SCL-90-R ) and the Inventory of Interpersonal Problems (IIP-C). The performance of 3 2 psychosomatic outpatients on the computerized version was compared with t he performance of a matched control group on the paper-and-pencil version. No systematic differences were observed in group means. (C) 1999 Elsevier S cience Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
