Abstract
For structure-activity reasons, an isomeric compound of Viagra, methylated at N-2 at the pyroazolo[4,3-d]pyrimidine-7-one nucleus, was synthesized and its X-ray structure performed. The crystallographic data show that the phe nyl and condensed pyrazolo-pyrimidone ring systems are not coplanar to each other.
