Abstract
The Plant Construction and Technical Services division of Siemens has suppl ied the control system and drive technology for Cementos Lima S. A., the la rgest cement manufacturer in Peru. The automation system and the special dr ive systems have enabled the cement works to achieve a great degree of rati onalization and introduce a new way of operating the process. For Siemens t his contract teas associated with the most extensive configuration so far o f its CEMAT control system, of which 250 have now been installed around the world.
