Pf. Ludman et al., RADIAL VERSUS FEMORAL APPROACH FOR DIAGNOSTIC CORONARY ANGIOGRAPHY INSTABLE ANGINA-PECTORIS, The American journal of cardiology, 79(9), 1997, pp. 1239
We compared coronary angiography of the radial artery using 6Fr cathet
ers in 116 patients with that of the femoral artery in 100 case contro
ls. We showed that transradial coronary angiography offers a useful al
ternative to the femoral route and can be performed without resorting
to 5Fr catheters.
