Abstract
The Cornell voltage criteria and the Novacode computer model for estim ating left ventricular mass were compared to echocardiographic left ve ntricular mass in African Americans from the Charleston Heart Study. T he diagnostic accuracy of these electrocardiographic models compared w ith the echocardiogram is similar to the previous study in whites.
