Abstract
Novel bicyclic triols, attenols A (1) and B (2), were isolated from the Chi nese bivalve Pinna attenuata. The absolute stereostructures of 1 and 2 were determined by spectroscopic analysis and the modified Mosher's method. The se attenols exhibited moderate cytotoxicity against P388 cells.
