Abstract
The advent of gene targeting in the mouse has led to rapid advances in the
identification of factors controlling gene expression that are essential fo
r normal hematopoietic development. Recent work has also uncovered roles fo
r some of these factors in leukemogenesis and in the global regulation of c
hromatin structure.
