Abstract
In this study, a formulation for shuttling temperature drop is developed, t herefore the total temperature change in H-beam rolling can be determined, thus enabling the temperatures of the rolled piece before and after rolling at any pass in the continuous rolling process to be obtained. The deformat ion resistance of a material is a significant parameter influencing the rol ling force and torque. The interpolation method is adopted to simulate the true experimental stress-strain curve. By this means the accuracy of calcul ation of the energy parameters has been greatly improved.
