Abstract
New experimental data on O-H and O-D stretching vibrations were received fr om Raman spectra of light and heavy water and aqueous solutions of some ele ctrolytes. These data permit to estimate previous results in this field fro m a new position. Our results were explained from the point of view of rota tional reorientation of the central water molecules in the five-molecule st ructural units. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
