Abstract
The first example of simultaneous triple carbonylmetalloimmunoassay (CMIA), a non-iso topic immunological method, is presented herein. This method, or iginally developed for mono-assays, uses various transition metal carbonyl complexes as labels and sensitive quantitation of these tracers by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, thanks to the characteristic nu(CO ) bands appearing in the 1800-2200 cm(-1) region. We show here that this me thod offers an advance in the challenging held of simultaneous multi-immuno assay, with the example of the assay of three antiepileptic drugs (carbamaz epine, phenobarbital and diphenylhydantoin).
