Abstract
FINUDA is a hypernuclear physics experiment that will start data taking in '99 at the DA Phi NE e(+)e(-) collider, LNF Frascati. The detector has been designed to produce new and high quality data on a wide set of hypernuclea r observable states. In the following sections the main physics items toget her with a review of the detector characteristics and performances will be given.
