Background: Moyamoya disease with pregnancy is rare and might present with
cerebral hemorrhage.
Case: A 22-year-old primigravida suddenly developed muscular weakness in th
e right arm and facial discomfort 3 days after cesarean. Computed tomograph
y and cerebrovascular angiography found cerebral infarction attributable to
moyamoya disease. Bilateral anastomosis of superficial temporal and middle
cerebral arteries was done.
Conclusion: Moyamoya disease with pregnancy might present as cerebral infar
