Abstract
We report the case of a 40-year-old women with diffuse uveitis, sensorineur
al hearing loss and cerebrospinal fluid pleocytosis as features of Vogt-Koy
anagi-Harada syndrome who developed symmetric polyarthritis and stiffness o
f small and large joints, in addition to rheumatoid arthritis. Although the
ir target tissues are distinct, both diseases have a possible autoimmune or
igin strongly associated with HLA-DRB4.
