Abstract
The study presents, and discusses comparatively five equations for the calc ulation of the infinite dilution activity coefficient as well as their infl uence upon the calculation of the limit selectivity parameter. Also include d are two variants of the regular solution theory used in the prediction of the infinite dilution activity coefficient, using the group contribution o f Ashton and co-workers' for eleven binary mixtures on the temperature rang e of 338.16-363.16 K.
