Abstract
The importance of linking reagents in drug targeting procedures is reviewed , with particular emphasis on the design of the best chemical procedures us ed to optimize pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties. Some molecul ar conjugates, such as immunotoxins, antibody/drug and albumin/drug conjuga tes, or particulate conjugates such as immunoliposomes, are discussed in th is connection.
