Abstract
This paper describes the effect of some parameters on the numerical solutio n of nonisothermal distributed activation energy model equation. Investigat ed parameters are integral upper limits, integral interval number, heating rate, frequency factor, mean of activation energy distribution and standard deviation of activation energy distribution. In the numerical solution of DAEM equation, 500 kJ mol(-1) value can be used for the upper limit of dE i ntegral. The interval number of dE integral is better to be chosen as 50 bo th to have no oscillations in the results and to keep the solution time sho rt. Integration step size of dt integral must be automatically adjusted by the program as numerical integration progressed. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
