Abstract
A variety of new drugs have been used to treat dermatologic cases over the past 10 years. This article focuses on new drugs that have been used to tre at atopy, infectious diseases, immune-mediated and hormonal skin conditions of dogs and cats. Examples of drugs used in treating each category of skin disease are discussed along with the side effects associated with the use of these drugs.
