Automated farm comparison

UNIFORM-MANAGEMENT is the most applied Management Information System for da iry farming in the Netherlands. It is also used in Belgium, the UK, the USA and other countries. Dairy herd management is an important module in this system. For some years now there has also been another module - the farm co mparison module. Every month data from participating dairy farmers are sent to UNIFORM AGRI through UNINET, a communication program for EDI, After cen tral data processing the individual farm results as well as the average res ults collected from all participants are returned to the farmer. An automat ed procedure with analysing rules has been developed as a supplement. This presents the farmer with clear remarks, developed on the basis of farm comp arison system results.
