V. Jankovic et al., OPTIMAL CONDITIONS FOR THE EXTRACTION OF METALS FROM USED LUBRICANTS BY MICROCRYSTALLINE CELLULOSE, Strojarstvo, 38(4-5), 1996, pp. 157-160
The experiments were carried out by using a mathematical method ''Symp
lex'', to obtain the optimal conditions for the extraction of the meta
ls from used lubricants. Criterion of the efficiency of the experiment
s were the yields of the cooper extractions from bubricant In all expe
riments, copper was tested because it is present in many materials of
machine sliding surfaces. It was found the extraction carried out on t
he temperature of 97-98 degrees C during 12 hours gave gives the best
results.
