Abstract
Novel cDNAs encoding evolutionarily conserved J Domain Proteins (JDPs) were investigated from Drosophila and mouse. Each of the full coding sequences potentially encodes a conserved J domain, but lacks additional characterist ic structures present in DnaJ family proteins. The expression was restricte d to head in Drosophila. However, ubiquitous expression was observed in mic e with the highest li:vel in kidney. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rig hts reserved.
