Abstract
The temperature dependence of electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficie nt of some carboxymethylcellulose containing metallic ions (Na, Ag, Hg, Fe) in their molecules are studied. Investigated compounds show semiconducting properties. Band conduction and hopping transport are taken into account f or explaining the obtained experimental results.
