Abstract
During biodegradation of dissolving pulp with Pleurotus ostreatus in solid substrate state, a decrease in the degree of polymerization and in the amou nt of crystalline structure was obtainned. The results agree with those rec ording the increase of the alkaline extractives amount and the thermal susc eptibility of the substrate.
