Abstract
New copper(I) complexes [Cu-3(I)(mesO(-))](2+) (3) and [Cu-3(I)- (mesOH)](3 +) (4) have been generated from a phenol-containing trinucleating ligand, m esOH; reactions with O-2 reflect the unsymmetrical ligand environment, and lead to peroxo and/or hydroperoxo cluster complexes, including those with m ixed-valent copper ion centers.
