Abstract
A mesoporous ruthenium silica hybrid aerogel containing well dispersed bide ntate RuCl2[Ph2P(CH2)(3)PPh2](2) complexes, synthesized using a sol-gel met hod, affords turnover frequencies up to 18400 h(-1) and 100% selectivity fr om CO2, H-2 and diethylamine for the formation of N,N-diethylformamide.
