Rate constants for intra:molecular vibronic transitions Na-2((BIIu)-I-1, v'
)--> Na-2((2)(1)Sigma(g)(+), v) in collisions of Na-2((BIIu)-I-1, v') with
He and Ar atoms are calculated. Calculations were accomplished by the trans
ition state method taking into account strong coupling of vibrational state
s of Na-2((2)(1)Sigma(g)(+), v) formed by the electron transition while the
products are flying apart. The results of calculations are in qualitative
agreement with the available experimental data.
