Abstract
One of the possible methods has been presented of numeric elimination of th e IR ohmic drop from measurement results of potentials of structures, obtai ned in regions of interaction of dynamic stray currents flowing out of DC e lectric tractions. The method has been adjusted to measurement data obtaine d by the correlation technique, based on investigation of the relation betw een structure potential changes and the voltage between the structure and t raction rails. The presented examples of the practical application of the m ethod point to possibility of disclosure of effects occurring on the phase interface as the result of flow of polarising current, usually masked in me asurement results by the IR component. A possibility has been indicated of using the correlation coefficient of changes of investigated signals as an IR elimination criterion. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserve d.
