Abstract
As an illustration of general principles, the W-boson loop contribution to the amplitude for the decay H --> gamma gamma is calculated within a specif ic model for the effective lagrangian describing the anomalous gauge boson couplings. Different approaches to the dependence of the result on the scal e of new physics Lambda are briefly discussed.
