Abstract
A compact 16 x 16 channel arrayed-waveguide grating multiplexer with 1.6nm (200GHz) channel spacing at 1550nm has been fabricated using acrylate polym ers. The crosstalk is <-25dB, uniformity is +/-0.5dB and on-chip loss is 7. 7dB. Device sizes as small as 16.5 x 12mm(2) have been achieved.
