Abstract
Unrepeatered transmission over a record length of 150km of nonzero-dispersi on fibre at 100Gbit/s is reported. These results were achieved using decorr elated optical multiplexing of five 20Gbit/s signals. The transmitter pulse source, the optical demultiplexer and the clock recovery are based on elec troabsorption modulators.
