Abstract
This paper discusses the measuring methods of grounding resistance. A new m easuring method, which uses a higher order spectrum, is suggested. Compared with a power spectrum-based method, the new method can reduce the effect a t Gaussian noise, and therefore can measure the grounding resistance more a ccurately. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate the effectivenes s of the new method.
