Synthesis of linear aperture antennas using wavelets as basis functions

An algorithm to compute a solution for the classical problem of aperture sy nthesis is presented. The algorithm uses wavelets as basis functions in ord er to reach a good approximation of the aperture field constructively from the antenna radiation pattern. Haar wavelet basis is the selected wavelet f amily for validations. Results prove the performance of the proposed method .
