Va. Frol'Kis et al., Evaluation of anthropogenic climate changes from simulated radiative and photochemical processes in the atmosphere, IAN FIZ ATM, 35(4), 1999, pp. 444-456
Changes in the radiative atmospheric conditions due to anthropogenic pollut
ion are simulated mathematically. This simulation is used to describe the e
ffect of anthropogenic and natural trace gases on the climate system in the
past, as well as to estimate the influence of pollution on the radiative c
onditions in the future. A new scheme for radiative forcing computations is
proposed and compared with the conventional scheme. Radiative forcing and
the radiative contribution to global warming are examined depending on obse
rved and pre dieted emissions of basic trace gases. Various scenarios of an
thropogenic pollutant emissions and individual gaseous pollutants are estim
ated as sources of influence on radiative forcing and global warming.
